Our official foray into the world of podcasting. well not really, but we're super pumped about our new home at liberated syndication and figured we'd celebrate by putting this end of summer mix together. it starts all never ending happy summer days with some sexy indie disco, falls into a bit of island love with steel drums and tropicalia and gives way towards early sunsets and impending autumn with mellow folk from the Mountain Goats and king freak Devendra Banhart, whose "Seahorses" gives the title to our inaugural episode: "I'm High & I'm Happy & I'm Free", not a bad way to be.
